One of my top 3 trails in the world. Not for beginners but a strong intermediate could walk the super technical stuff. Start from the Red Agave apartments and take Slim Shady to HiLine. Best ridden starting at 4:00 so you get a decent amount of shade.

Great system of trails! Hiline was intense, technical and sometimes fast and flowy. Expert level but so much fun!

Trail starts right out of town. Great rock climbing followed by nice technical descents. Tough for newcomer to get right approach uphill so we walked quite a few spots. Great views, very enjoyable. Especially like bombing down trail back into town.

Typical Sedona style trail serving as a connector between Slim Shady and the Yavapai Vista parking lot.

Typical Sedona trail going up and over the Yavapai Vista Point to Slim Shady. Short trail starting from the parking lot.

Amazing views and a mix of technical, wooded trail and slickrock. Needs to be signed better in slickrock area because it is easy to get off trail. Numerous faint trails show that I wasn't the only one with this problem.

What I've come to expect from Sedona area trails. Sandy, rocky, winding through cedar forest at the base of red rock butte.

I love this trail, super fun way to start a ride if you park in VOC. Very fast and the dirt can't be beat of course!

Great singletrack with awesome flow, super fun and it connects to Hiline, Templeton and Easy Breezy.

Smooth decent with fun technical lines. Recommended to connect a lot of the trails in the area.

Great trail. Varies from techy to flowy and back. Really fun both directions.

Not my favorite trails in the region, but the best trails in the region are EPICLY good! So even as runner-ups, these are still some pretty good singletrack trails.

This trail is now officially part of the USFS trail network. Although it still doesn't show up on most local maps, it is signed on the ground. The new "official" trail name is "Slim Shady." The more technical uphill loop on the Village of Oak Creek end of the trail is still called "Made in the Shade." If you are not on your "A" game (or you don't have an "A" game), there is another new, easier connector (Coconino Trail) from the Templeton Trail to the last portion on Slim Shady.

Fun trail. Still a little sketch in spots because its not maintained by the Forest Service yet. There is a whole network of new trails built on this side of the highway now. All pretty fun.
