Tanque Verde Rd east to Soldiers Trail go north to Ft Lowell Rd and then east to Camino Remunda and head north. Stay north at turns to parking lot and trail head.
Not a bad trail to hike, but large wood steps with dirt eroded around them make it a HAB going up and a loose ride down with lots of drops. Watch out for the cholla! Recommend full suspension.
| ThankViews are stellar thru out this trail. It climbs steeply with many loose and large rocks, Jumping Cholla and a wide variety of spring and summer flowers. Most hike 2 miles to a cow pond that sometimes has water. The whole hike is 5.15 miles with 2985' elevation gain. Ends near Milagrosa Trail.
