#24 of 97 mountain bike trails in Alabama

Very fast single track entering a couple tight turn. Nice flat rock to go over which leads to some switchback out on to fire road. This is a 1/2 mile in length. Take a left on fire road for 1/2 mile nothing to difficult accept for steep climb with loose gravel once on top of hill make a left there are three loops with different entrance points. Short loop is to your immediate left .2 mile long very quick not technical. Once back on fire road turn left again next trail on right 1.3 in length out and back very fast trail, nice turns (best trail there to me). Take right next loop on right 1.3 miles in length very fast also which ever direction you take this trail slight climb coming out.

Great, hard packed trail with some nice elevation. Super fast and smooth downhill with awesome flow!

This was a great track for beginner-early intermediates. We had a great time. Down hills are very fast but expect a steep uphill before getting to the tracks. North Loop is easier than South Loop but both have nice flows and will test your bike turning skills. Not very technical but great opportunities to have nice bump jumps. Watch out for quick switchback turns!

Well it was a nice little flow trail....the one mile out to the loops was the most technical....and had a couple of short steep inclines coming back......but the loops are definitely entry level....but with that said they were nicely laid out...and there were some great views of the creek.

Note-you turn RIGHT onto Veterans parkway when yeaded north on Mcfarland. Also, once parked, you must turn left out of the parking area to get to the grailhead.
Fun trail! I am a beginner so this trail was great. Fast, scenic, and not too technical. The few climbs coming back out where tough tho. I did not ride the north loop. For fun, start at the bottom of the parking area and climb out. I hit 30 mph downhill on the way bakc. Fun end to a nice ride!

Great trail to ride. It is a fast trail. Little climb to due while on the trail. Trail has a great flow regardless what direction you choose to ride. The only true climb is when your coming back to your vehicle

Awesome trail. Fun cranking around the many switchback turns. Hats off to the folks that maintain it. Well done.

Awesome new Trails. Main loops are at top of Big hill with very little climbing (except on the ride in.) Just high speed cranking, South is a little more windy, and North is just little hillier and with some long nearly straight stretches. You have a fast double track bomb back to the connector and a good hard climb out on a couple switchbacks to look forward to before you make it back to the trail head.

Very fun but takes about a mile to get to the main area where most of the tracks are. Lots of small 1 mile long loops but a couple a bit longer. Lots of pretty wide singletrack. Almost any skill level can ride here depending on the trail.
