Really fun ride. I use a Fat Bike which is super fun for this trail. Not technical so most fun on a Fat Bike or Gravel Bike. Just fun...

I recently rode these trails for the first time in 20 years. Back then I found them challenging. Now that I'm used to New England roots/rocks singletrack, these trails are really quite tame. They are fun for what is available in this area but not much of a challenge. Quite appropriate for a fatbike due to the amount of sand.

Always a good ride from 114 to Cedar Point Park. Take the red trail to the white trail.

The directions given to the trail are incorrect. The trail starts on 114 between Sag and East Hampton. This should be fixed by someone.

Well marked trails, terrain is easy. Sand is the only thing to watch out for.

Do a tick and chigger check, miss a tick and you'll get lime, miss a chigger and you'll have bloody shins for 2 weeks.

Fun trail but the only downside is there are no warnings about chiggers. If you're not from the area you most likley dont know about chiggers. Google them and figure it out. But i found 10 chiggers on my self after this ride. Originally thought they were deer ticks until i did some reasearch. Aside from that, the ride was great. Some sandy spots and some quick little climbs and quick down hills.

Take 114 to Cedar Point Park (CPP). Follow yellow triangles. It's roughly 7 miles out and 7 back. If you ride fat you can take the beach at CPP for a few more miles to the old lighthouse.

The trail is not easy at all. I've been riding out here twenty years. It's roughly an 800 foot elevation and you'll feel like you're climbing both ways out and back.

I've been in every trail on the island and this is the most beautiful with several lakes and historical monuments. If you go off the yellow triangles onto the white hike trails you'll see more history of the east end.

This is a top three trail out of all our wonderful island trails. It's not all about the flow. Sometimes ya gotta work 🚵🏻

Beautiful setting, while not very technical its a Great Fat Bike Trail - with occasional short rooty steeps - fast and flowy and a some of sand.
