Getting there
From Full Circle Cycle in Wenatchee, start Northeast on Columbia Street and then immediately turn left onto Orondo Avenue. Soon the road will fork into three roads: take the leftmost road. When Orondo Avenue turns into Cherry Street, continue due west on Cherry Street. Eventually, you will dead end into South Western Avenue. Turn left at this intersection, and soon South Western Avenue will turn into #2 Canyon Road. At the end of the road, a parking lot for the trails should appear.

Hit this trail with my son yesterday. Its a gradual climb to top nothing to difficult. Lots of switchbacks, Clearly marked and easy to follow. While its rated beginner there are a few tough spots for newer riders and again its a gradual climb 5 miles to the top but well worth the downhill coming back down it. As the directions say go up the gravel road through first gate and up to the old broke second gate. Theres a parking lot there for up to maybe 10 cars. After parking go about 300ft up gravel road between gate posts to the trailhead on the right. Trail has some wonderful views.

Did this trail 2 weeks ago in the evening. It is a pleasant climb that has nice single track. The view at the top of Wenatchee Valley is awesome. You can turn around and enjoy the fun ride down, or go over to the Waterslide trail.
This trail convinced me of how good of quality the trail building here is. Even after a fire came through here 2 years ago, you ride past charred trees and there is still ash on the trail.

Went on a group trivia ride. Went up the road to the top of stairway to decend. If out of shape the road requires rest breaks. Great views. The area is still a bit scorched from a past forest fire. The decent is great single track that I find easy. It's higher elevation so it can get cool in the evenings.
