Kevin Adams of the VVCC tells us, “Verde Valley Wheel Fun runs after-school mountain bike clubs at 13 Verde Valley […] public schools, has an earn-a-bike program, provides an annual grant to the local NICA team and builds bike skills parks on public school property. The Arizona Community Foundation of Yavapai County Arizona named FUN one of five Shining Stars for the transformative work it performs in the community. Each Shining Star receives a $500 grant and is eligible for a bonus grant based on how many votes its video receives.”

Video “votes” are tabulated based on the number of likes, comments, and shares received. The campaign runs through 4pm MST August 9, 2021 so give them a thumbs up now.
