The most technical ride in the Kokopelli Trail System. From TH parking go up the gravel road and down the other side. At first left turn in the rd. take the singletrack heading up the hill. Now you're on Moore Fun. The trail climbs a rocky line with many ledges, tight turns and a bit of a trials type riding. The views are outstanding but the trail demands all your focus. Once you reach the top the descent is as technical as the climb. The end of Moore fun brings you to the Lion's TH parking. Right takes you to frontage rd. back to car. Left will take you to Mary's Loop which gives you options to ride Handcuffs,Lion's,Horesthief Bench or Rustlers Loop. Or Mary's back to TH parking.

Moore Fun has a lot of bits that can't be ridden. It's steep - and gives you little reward for the effort you make. It's technically inept - just lots of rock piles and some rough, rocky dirt. Don't take any notice of the high ratings - mountain bikers just tend to be masochists.

Moore Fun is probably one of the more technical trails I've been on. Lots of technical up and down, and switchbacks, and narrow sections, drops off ledges, and some sections where you think "you've got to be kidding!" Mr. Moore had a wicked sense of humor! It challenged my skills and kicked my ass at times, but I was grinning ear to ear when I got back to my truck. And a burger and a couple beers never tasted so good after riding!
| ThankDefinitely one of those, funny, haha you got me, names. A more accurate name would be Less Fun. This trail is super technical, with no flow or rhythm. If you're looking for a technical challenge and don't mind getting on and off your bike throughout the trail, this is the ride for you. Don't get me wrong, I definitely enjoyed it, but the name is misleading for most riders. There are plenty of great trail options in this area, explore them all! I'd recommend Mack Ridge /Lion's Loop.
| ThankI was told this trail was really technical and it was easier in some places and near impossible in others. I think it would be fun to ride it either direction, but I chose to go west to east. There were some hike a bike sections up, but I was able to ride just about everything on the way down except where I miffed. There is some crazy steep rocky downhill sections that were a blast. Would recommend if you love crawling over technical terrain.
| ThankThis trail is not really more fun at all. It's super techie going up (after riding Mary's, etc out there), many hike-a-bike sections. Knocks you out of your groove a bunch, and into swearing mode. Going down back to the main lot area is a lot of fun though, pretty techie, challenging stuff.

| ThankThis is four miles of super technical goodness--probably the most technical challenge in the Fruita/GJ area. You've got great views of the rest of the Koko trails below and the river beyond, but you won't be looking at them much as you are constantly focused on the obstacles ahead. There are technical ups and downs, ledges and drops, switchbacks and narrow grooves, but no really big climbs or downhills. This is the ultimate technical cross country trail!
| ThankThe most technically challenging trail in the Grand Valley (excluding the free ride trails). Awesome singletrack climb...ledges, rock gardens, switchbacks. I can't ride all the climb, but it is very gratifying when you can hit certain difficult sections. Nice views during the ride across the ridge. Fun downhill with a nice re-route at the bottom done in early 2010. You can catch a cutoff to shorten the fire-road back to Mack Ridge if that is your parking area.
