Great little stretch of Bend dirt. Tyler's has a really nice combination of some flow with some nice bumps thrown in to keep you honest. Can be ridden as an out and back, incorporated as part of many loops. A long day would include Catch and Release, to Storm King, to Funner, to Tiddlywinks, to Kiwa, then enjoy the entire Tyler's Traverse. Surprised that the trail was already this beaten up and dusty by this time of year, but locals say it is based on when the snow melts. They describe the "feature" as moon dust. ???? Still a fun ride.

Was able to catch a ride to Wanoga Sno-Park and ride back to my lodging in town. Tied into Tylers Traverse after 3 miles on the upper portion of Tiddlywinks and a 1.5 mile climb on Kiwa Butte trail. From there I had a 6 mile downhill romp that was fun but not severe. Tying into Catch and Release to C.O.D. and then Marvin's Garden to Phil's TH. With ride back to my accommodations, the 30 mile journey contained only 1100' of climbing. Featured the occasional rocky outcropping but nothing too tough to ride or walk if necessary.

This might be a 4.5 star ride if we ran it as a shuttle but climbing UP Tiddlywinks before cutting across and then taking Tylers was a grind...especially after riding for (5) days in Oakridge and on the NUT. As nice as Tyler's was on the lower 3/4 of the trail, it was repetitive and I think I would have rather gone back down Tiddlywinks with it's monster berms and numerous drops.

Awesome trail. Go as fast as you have the lungs and legs for. Lots of little jumps and rises to catch some air on. Nothing really in the way of technical features. I was pretty gassed by the time I reached the bottom.

One of the better trails in the area.

Long, gentle descent (wish it was a bit steeper)
Lots of nice berms, plus a few gentle table top jumps. Good fun, good flow.
