Basically a loop around Tumalo Mountain. You can choose either the Swampy Lakes TH or the Dutchman Sno-Park as your beginning/endpoint. I prefer Swamp Lakes because it is closer to town. Either spot will provide immediate climbing though it seems more brutal leaving Dutchman Sno-Park. The trail is more of an alpine ride as compared to the Phil's Area. Twisting thru trail hugging trees, you finally reach the DH portion 3-4 miles from your finish. Don't relax though as there are plenty of rocks, roots and trees to negotiate along the way.

the access of this trail from dutchmans snow park is BRUTAL climb. But, the scenery is awesome, and how it connects to so many other trails is really great. Be ready for some good climbs!
