Mountain Biking Strathcona Science Park

*****   Add a review
#7 of 219 mountain bike trails in Alberta
#1,578 in the world

Small Bike track at science park which is good for a nice warmup. From there head south along the rivers edge or up on top of the bank until you reach the refineries. Someone built a bike park between the refinery and river. Trails are technical and the climbs are steep. Not dangerous but would be frustrating for a beginner rider.

Rider questions

Q: Hi Everyone! This is Margeaux Morin from Global News in Edmonton. I am working on a story about dirt trail erosion in the Edmonton river valley and wonder if any of you riders who use the trails quite a bit would be interested in interviewing with us? Please send me an email, [email protected] if you'd like to chat. Thanks!

Grew up in the fort and never left the trail there. Hit this up for the first time and.....why did it take so long. Pipe dream is fantastic!

Rode PipeDream and Cambodia today. There were a couple muddy sections but otherwise surprisingly dry for this time of year. Definitely some technical sections with narrow rooted paths and ladders. Will definitely be back.

I, personally think this is the best riding in Edmonton. There is an abundance of trails, with varying skill levels. Pipe Dream and potluck are my favorites right now

Because of high river levels, some lower sections of trail will be closed.

Due to all the rain lower sections of the trails will be closed down NY the river. High river levels make it dangerous
