Lippman Park

Trails not maintained too many trees down. A lot of walking. Drove an hour to the park to ride and was very disappointed

Considering this is the #1 trail I wasn't overly impressed. Viper was great, and the beginner trails were fun,. Paul Bunyan trail was terrible not Maintained at all. If you want instant Lyme disease then that's your trail. I definitely prefer gurney or north Bethlehem.

Trail system is well maintained and well designed for moderate to advanced riders. Love hitting up the brewery by the park entrance after the ride. Those two things make the Lippman Park a great biking spot.

These trails are very well maintained. I think it's the best trail system in the area and perhaps in the tops of the state. Well marked and designed for all levels. Was able to sneak in a weekend New Years ride with the wife and warm weather and trails were perfect. The Renegades MTB are doing an awesome job organizing and maintaining these trails. And yes, the New Paltz Brewery is a must go-to-place after the ride. They are by the entrance of the park. I always stop in with my wife. Had some awesome baked pretzels with the Hint of Heat Hefeweizen was phenomenal. She had the oktoberfest beer. Very friendly brewery owners. The whole area seems of friendly people. Great weekend getaway! Awesome!

First few trails are fun to session as there is a large ramp and north shore features

Awesome trail system - you can tell that some locals have put in a lot of time to keep it maintained. Textbook flowy single tracks everywhere you look and some fun rocky sections as you ascend too. Will definitely be back!

Very well-maintained trails and a lot of them~ you can tell a lot of time and effort has been spent maintaining them. There's a little of everything packed into a condensed network of trails, from easier and smoother terrain, to large rock piles, skinny bridges and a few up steep up and downhills. Our one issue was that it was such a condensed maze of trails with somewhat confusing markings, that we spent a lot of time looking at the map instead of just riding. We attempted to ride trails 1-18, but got so mixed up, we ended up just trying to make our way to the top by winging it, which worked out okay too. Really have to appreciate how much work has been put into the place though, it's worth the trip to ride there!
Oh, and yes, beer lovers need to check out the New Paltz brewery practically next door. Terrific place!

Love this trail system. Great elevation. clean and tight paths. Always love riding this park trail. After the ride we always love going to the New Paltz Brewery just outside the park for a pint of beer. You need to check out their Hefeweizen!

Very pretty area in the midst of "the Gunks." Nothing super technical, but flowy and fun. Climbs are not going to wind you too much. Upper trails had some trees down that had not been cut, or I may have been slightly off the grid riding deeper in the park, Vic Rock Garden or beyond. All good and part of a new discovery. Nicely done Renegades.

Awesome trail system with lots of flow on the lower and more rocks and roots up higher. Totally enjoyed the variety, especially Arizona and Lyons Gait. Spent almost 3 hours exploring; kuddos to the trail maintenance folks; you can tell they really care about the system. Bravo boys!

This is a bout a half hour from me and for being the closest thing to real single track it's a huge must if you are passing through! Free parking free riding trails are marked out well and are a lot of fun! Climb to the top and take Lyons den down it's a must!

Just hit this trail yesterday and had a blast! You could easily spend the entire day there and probably still not ride every trail. The park is clean, parking is abundant and the trails and bridges are maintained meticulously.

I enjoyed Chupacabra. Was short on time so didnt cover a lot of ground. Burms were rock hard and some gravel spots are shaky. I will have to return but can't see it being a top 5 destination in NY.

Excellent trail system, but somewhat misleading. I'm a double-black diamond level rider (I found Viper fun, but not technically difficult), but the "easy", "green" trails are only easy compared to what else is in the park. Newbie riders, beware - this is not a beginner-level park.

Fun trail. Higher elevation is rocky and rooty, technical, would have liked a full suspension. Lower elevation has more flow and was fine with my hard tail. Navigation can be confusing since the trails are tightly bunched.

First time. Picked a bad day to go (rain as soon as I started riding). Early March means trenches from water run off throughout the winter and a lot of leaves. But I see the potential. Had fun on crazy eights. I'll be back for sure, tho. And I'll update my rating accordingly.

Great park for all levels super fun riding. Top area way more technical. Only down side is its so tight oacked that navigation is difficult
