Mountain Biking White Clay Creek

*****   Add a review
#1 of 22 mountain bike trails in Delaware
#500 in the world

Like Flying! The trail is soooo Fast! I love this place. It connects to Judge Morris and Some othe trail network over in Maryland (Gambrill maybe?). Yeah, I crossed State lines on these trails. They just go and go. 3 or 4 hours of fun riding! Great for beginners.

I have been here twice and cant wait to go back. Awesome trails with everything from fast flowy singletracks to rock gardens to berms and small jumps. With a great little skills section. Hardpack Hero dirt throughout, park is a bout 25 miles I think . Bring a lot of water, snacks, gels and take a pre workout drink prior because it has flow for days. Makes you wanna keep going and going. Well marked as well with a lot of signs. Check out Logzilla too.

I ride this most weekends when it's nice. ~2000 ft of vertical and over 20 miles if you do a big loop. Plenty of options for less and even for more. Folks come from far away to enjoy our local hotspot, and it's big enough to accommodate everyone thus far. :)

Watch for rusted steel fence posts sticking just above surfaces around trail edges. They're like little knives camouflaged in the brush.

This is my new favorite mountain biking spot. It has a lot of fast rolling sections but also includes some technical downhills too. Overall worth the drive and I will definitely be back to shred some more. It has 3 different loops that include a skills trail and a corkscrew trail that are super challenging for even the most skilled riders.

One of the best in the area. Its fun and flowy for all skill levels. Beginners should avoid some parts of the skills park, otherwise theres nothing that a new rider can't handle here. Lots of nice clims too but nothing technical. 3-4 hours worth of fun here

Lot of fun. Got turned around a bit even with a map I printed but got a better sense of direction after a bit. Seemed to favor the middle run section more but also did not hit all the trails. Obstacles were wet so couldn't do some or most actually. Otherwise not a very technical place. Would be good for beginners and anyone looking for a good fun ride. Was hoping for some larger descents. Plan on returning to explore the rest and would recommend going. I rode for about 3 hours and didn't get it all in. I paid the $8 to park but next time will just park at middle run

They've recently added a new pump track and plans for additional trails are in the works. This place rocks! One heads up: most of these trails do not drain well and should be avoided for a day or two after any meaningful rain.

This has to be one of my all-time favorite trail systems and in the tiny state of Delaware of all places. The first thing that strikes you about the trails are how well-maintained they are. While there is an "expert" section with man-made obstacles, bridges and skinnies, the trail system is really all about flow. In the 30 miles of trail there is surprisingly good elevation change. This makes for a decent cardio workout but even better opportunity to shred at high speed with many well-placed bumps to really get some air. They've recently added a new rock garden section that, while not the most technical, is great practice for newbies and intermediates. For advanced riders there are plenty of skinnies (some highly elevated) and launch points to really air it out.
Trails are marked but there are so many intersections it's hard to follow. Middle Run and Triple loop are listed as separate trails but they are all part of White Clay Creek State Park.

Great trails! Ranges from flowy with rythym sections and brides to super technical. The skills park was great, and had some of the best skinnies I've ever ridden. The trails are very well maintained as well.

My first trip to this park and i do have to say it was incredible I Parked in the nine foot road parking lot. there is a fee of 4 dollars for residents and 8 for non residents. That didn't bother me but i wish i knew before i went in. I was able to ride the Whitely farm trail and the Bryans field trail, both were well maintained and i cant wait to go back.

Drove about an hour and a half to get to this trail system and I wasn't disappointed. Tons of mileage with the majority of it on rolling single track. Tons of options too, my only complaint is the map is a little hard to read for those that don't ride it often. The skills section is great and was close to wear I parked. Will be back to check out more options here, defiantly plan on spending the whole day here.

This is my home trail system and where I started mountain biking so naturally I have a lot of nostalgia. Still, this is a great trail system. Well marked trails, very flowy and well maintained. Lots of climbs and downhills and other technical features including a purpose built skill section that is an absolute blast to ride. Plenty of distance to get a good ride in. Highly recommend checking this park out.

Well maintained nice rolling fast trails. Part of the White Clay Creek system. We didn't know we entered a different trail system until we check the GPS report from my Garmin.

Well maintained nice rolling fast trails. We rode about 21 miles. Near the end of the ride the trails began to defrost. Many of these trail become extremely slippery when wet, probably because of the clay in the soil. Don't ride here unless frozen or dry.
Truly enjoyed these trail, looking forward to returning.

Did about 10 miles here, including the skills trail. Lots of great, flowy downhill sections mixed with some good climbs.

Trails are in great shape, very well maintained.

Can't wait to go back and ride the rest of the trails.

This is a great trail system, for anybody who mountain bikes this is worth the 10 minute trip off of I-95. The park consists of three parks White Clay, Middle Run Park, and Judge Morris, which all of the trails connect each other, I do not know why this site has them labeled as different parks. The trails are well labeled and getting lost can result into finding better trails. A must for mountain bikers.
