This is a short lariat that branches off of Burnt Mountain trail. This is definitely
a delicious lice of very narrow singletrack, that's not very technical, but rolls
through a beautiful section of this state forest.

"From I-26 South, take exit 9 (Asheville Airpot). Go to the right towards the
airport and Brevard. Go approximately 15 miles until NC 280 becomes US
276.
Follow this into and through Brevard (staying on four lane hwy). Go
approximately 9 miles past Brevard into Cedar Mtn, NC. Go left onto
Cascade
Lake Road. Go about 2 miles and you will see the parking area on the left.
Connect to this trail via Burnt Mountain Trail #11.

Why you may be inclined to ride past it and think that Nooks Trail is not worth your time, think again. This 1/2 mile jewel of singletrack isn't very technical, but its a beautiful constructed trail that rolls around a knob, deep out in the middle of this massive state forest. I can tell you one thing: You definitely won't regret having ridden it!
