Mountain Biking Moab Brand Trails

****   Add a review
#7 of 691 mountain bike trails in Utah

Great introduction to Moab riding. Start at the parking area for Bar M Chuckwagon and follow the signs. Ride the loop in a counter-clockwise direction (Bar M, then Bar B to Rockin'A and finish off with Cirlcle O). Follow the sign and pait on the rock.

Love this trail system, it is the closest to Moab and offers something for everyone.

It was the last trail I rode on a circuit of the Moab Brands and it was an excellent trail to finish on. Nice natural technicality using the local rocks and also some smoother rolling sections. It's one of the best Moab Brand trails.

Was a great little trail with nice views. Good warmup loop with Lazy.

Sidewinder is a one and a half mile intermediate trail that allows you to take a break from the Moab Canyon Pathway that links town to the Moab Brand trails. It's two way but it's only sensible to ride it down, ie, on the way back to town. That way, it has some nice down-slope riding and a short but challenging slick-rock climb that is quite satisfying.

Great trail for first-timers. Get out early to avoid the heat.

Great place to start in Moab!!! Just got into town and need a place to get started and this did the trick. Great selection of trail with a variety of terrain. This is also a great intro to slick rock riding.

My first ride in Moab. Great area not to spread out and plenty of choices. Encompasses the entire spectrum! Great learning area.

Great first slick rock trail. Well marked. I saw teen riders and adults. Don't bring a beginner! Requires full concentration. No shade so bring water!

Wonderful trails just outside of Moab with views of Arches. Great for beginners to intermediates. A few slick rock sections, but mostly fun up and down trails weaving in and out of the landscape.

Great trail system. There are a couple areas where you need to keep an eye on trail markings. They are there but hard to see when focused on the rocks.

Great trail that takes you over the slick rocks of Moab. I enjoy this entire park and the trails are well maintained and marked. Great place that can take all levels of riders and all can go their different directions and stay riding all day long.

I had heard that Killer Bee was super gnarly, and so technical that it was unrideable. I heard that the switchbacks were so sharp, you were guaranteed to walk or fall.

Neither of those statements are true. I managed to ride the entire trail successfully, and while some of the slickrock is steep and the switchbacks are washed out and pretty narrow, it's all quite doable. I'd give this a black diamond at most--it's not worthy of the doubleblack label.

By almost all standards, this trail is pretty lame. It's not challenging. It doesn't offer great climbs or descents. It doesn't really access any good singletrack. It does have some nice views, but that's about it.

This is a well designed trail with good flow and some rocky sections. This was a great trail to ride with my wife and young son, as they found just the right amount of challenge. What a great introduction to Moab riding.

Great first ride in Moab. Did EZ to deadman's ridge to Rockin-A to Circle-O to 40 to Lazy. The slick rock on Rockin-A and circle were my favorite.

This is where we go to get warmed up for the week or to hit something quick at the end of the day after epic riding in Moab elsewhere. Love the network of loops. Don't need to pack up for the long haul, just grab the bare minimum and it's a quick thrash.

Similar ride to Rockin A but not quite as rough with a little more technical stuff. It does have some awesome views so take a few minutes to look up from the line and take in the sights.

A good introduction to slick rock for beginning riders. Nothing too technical at all but a good way to get your feet wet.
